Volunteer Associations, such as School canteens, responsibilites and liabilities under the new Act.  

There are many organisations and individuals out there promoting a fear campaign that dramatic changes will occur and that companies must spend large amounts of money to ensure they are compliant.  The ACCC recently issued a warning notice on such OHS scams. Find out more in our article.

The new WHS Regulations 2011 for Queensland, based on the harmonised Model Regulations, are here, along with the 11 new ‘Priority’ Codes of Practice.

Following public comment on the draft model regulations, changes were made.
