Safety Representative Training

Course Name: Approved Work Health & Safety Representative
Course Code: WHSQ - HSR - NCB01

The course is designed for Work Health and Safety Representatives and has been updated to reflect the new harmonised legislation. This course has been approved by WHSQ-JAG in the new 5 day WHSR course format. On successful completion of the course, learners will have acquired the skills and knowledge to enable them to exercise all the powers of the WHSR under the WHS Act 2011.

Course Duration

The course is conducted over five days and includes a range of practical and theoretical activities.

Course Location

Public courses are scheduled regularly on the Gold Coast. This course can also be conducted in-house at a client’s premises. Please contact us to have a training proposal prepared for you.

Course Cost

The cost for individuals attending our public course is $850.00 (GST free) per person. Participants will receive a set of quality notes, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and tea and coffee all day.

Trainers

The trainers delivering this course are experienced workplace health and safety professionals with practical experience in industry. All trainers are approved by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to deliver Course WHSQ - HSR - NCB01 Approved Work Health and Safety Officer.

Outcome And Qualification

Participants must complete all units to achieve the course outcomes and receive the Statement of Attainment.

Refund Policy

Prepaid fees will be refunded in full if cancellation is received 7 days prior to commencement of course. If less than 7 days notice is received the prepaid fees will be either held as a credit for further course enrolments or shall be refunded less 10%. This fee is to cover mail outs and administration costs incurred.

Note: The above course outline can be tailored to suit the client’s needs. This can include more emphasis on particular issues or inclusion of client’s forms, policies and procedures.

PINS Standalone Course

For those WHSRs who have completed modules WHSR01-03A in the original 30630QLD Version 1 course, the Standalone PINS training Module WHSR04A must be completed to become a "Qualified WHSR" with the authority to issue a PIN. This course is offered both as an in-house course and a public course.
