About this Online Training Course
Certificate IV OHS is the perfect course for those responsible for OHS in their workplace and also for those who wish to become WorkCover accredited trainers and assessors, Human Resource practitioners, safety officers or supervisors with significant OHS responsibilities.
The duration of the certificate is 12 months online. Some learners will accelerate their learning and finish prior to the 12 months, and others may require an extension. The total hours required by a learner to successfully meet the standards within the qualification is approximately 400 hours.
This is made up of 9 units specifically selected to provide the best outcome for the student. Each unit consists of modules that address all of the learning elements and criteria to show that a learner is competent in Certificate IV OHS.
This training package is embedded with Employability Skills. A full listing of all employability skills are available upon request.
Subjects Covered
If you have experience and knowledge, you may be eligible to gain RPL. RPL is short for 'Recognition of Prior Learning' and is the acknowledgement of skills and knowledge obtained through learning achieved outside the formal education and training system.
RPL recognises any prior knowledge and experience and measures it against the qualification in which you are enrolled. You may not need to complete all of a training program if you already possess all or some of the competencies included in the qualification.
During your enrolment, our staff will talk to you about your eligibility to apply for RPL for Certificate IV Occupational Health and Safety.

Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisities for this qualification, however it does require a relatively high level of reading and literacy skills (Year 10 minimum) in order to research, analyse and interpret the units. In addition report writing requires a good knowledge of English.

Cost
Cost is $225 per module or $1800 upfront payment for all 9 modules.
