This course will meet part of the due diligence requirements for Managers as required by Section 27(5) of the WHS Act to ensure they aquire and keep up-to-date knowledge of work health and safety matters. The course provides participants with the skills and competencies to: 


• Understand their current work health and safety duties, determine how they should be met and understand the consequences of failure to meet those duties. 
• The meaning of “reasonably practicable” in a risk management context to avoid work health and safety prosecutions. 
• The requirement to exercise “due diligence” in relation to health and safety management. 
• Understand the application of workplace health and safety consultation and communication arrangements. 

This course can be delivered in a 2 hour or 4 hour format at your premises by Registered WHS Professionals with over 20 years of experience working with major corporations.
