Safety Officer Training Course DatesGold Coast 2010 Dates and Fees
Note: To become a qualified Safety Officer you must complete the Core Module (Mod 1, 2 & 3) and one elective module (Mod 4, 5 or 6). Not all elective modules will be offered by DRA on the advertised dates depending on numbers of participants, though arrangements to complete these elsewhere can be made. Please contact our office for further details. Course costs include GST. Course Times: 8.30am - 4.30pm Venue: Prana Centre, 7027 Southport-Nerang Road, Nerang 4211.
The Module 1-3 course has an “open book” exam for each of the three modules, plus a competency assessment workbook completed during the course and an inspection checklist assignment that must be submitted within two weeks of course completion. Modules 4, 5 & 6 courses have an “open book” exam and a competency assessment workbook which is submitted at completion of the course and an assignment that must be submitted within two weeks of course completion. The Recertification course has a 1¼ hour “open book” exam and an assignment that must be submitted within 2 weeks of course completion. The fee includes all student notes, appropriate legislation for the course, morning and afternoon tea and lunch. Please note a refund policy applies when enrolling in courses.
