DRA Safety Specialists Pty Ltd was founded by David Randall in 1995 and is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. The company has both full time staff and a number of Associates who can be called upon to provide specialist services when required.
Since 1995 the company has established itself as a reputable and professional training and consultancy organization and has established a client base throughout Australia, Thailand and the Middle East. The quality of our client base is a testament to the services provided.

David Randall - Managing Director
David has been involved in the occupational health and safety industry since 1990 and continues to provide consultancy, training and auditing services to clients throughout Australia and overseas.

Steve Penfold - Director
Steve became a Director of DRA Safety Specialists in 2008 after many years of work on the technical and Safety side of the construction industry. Steve is actively involved in performing audits, developing safety management systems and delivering training to clients.

Mark Rattle
Mark joined DRA Safety Specialists with a background as a Health and Safety Professional built from over 15 years of practical experience. He has worked for a number of Local Councils, ENERGEX providing advice and assistance through the provision of compliance audits and training sessions

Mayuri Gosalia
Mayuri has worked for the last 15 years at QUT where she gained experience in developing and implementing safety management systems and delivering training. Mayuri also brings many practical skills to all our clients, especially our many schools and Universities.

Sharon Randall
Sharon is the Training Coordinator for DRA which includes the management of the RTO, student registration and processing of all student materials and certificates.

Ann Penfold
Ann Manages the Accounts for DRA, including all invoice and payment enquiries, as well as supporting the office staff where needed.

Narelle Williams
Narelle is our Office Administrator co-ordinating all consultancies, proposals and reports, as well as looking after reception and answering your calls .

Gary Wachter
Gary co-ordinates sales and marketing of our online Safety Management System - Safety Direct, as well as his role to support management. Gary comes from a strong WHS background within the amusement industry.

Jenny Carlos
Jenny is our Central Queensland Safety consultant. Jenny will provide general consulting and trainng services specialising in Behavioural Science and Ergonomics.

Onisha Penfold
Onisha is our trainee, working on a dual qualification of a Diploma of Business and Diploma of Management, having already achieved a Certificate III in Business while working with DRA. Onisha is in charge of our website, newsletter and all of DRA’s online media sites, as well as supporting the admin staff and consultants on a day to day basis.
